Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi to Sapa by bus

06.45 – 7.15: The limousine bus will pick up at your hotel (Hanoi Old Quarter), 6.0-hour direct drive incl. two 20 – minute breaks

13:00 – 13:00: Arrive at your hotel in Sapa Town, check in at the hotel. Free time to visit Fanxipan. Overnight in Sapa town.

Day 2: Sapa – Mong Sen – Taphin – 1 day (B/L/D)

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at the hotel for a private day tour. You will be met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide and transferred downhill to Mong Sen, where you start trekking uphill through mountainous area. Enjoy while walking the spectacular view over rice paddy terraces, corn fields. Your picnic lunch will be provided on the spot.

After lunch, we continue our trek downhill towards Taphin village where you will meet Red Dao and Black Hmong minorities, two largest ethnic groups in Sapa area. Stop by a house to talk with local people to know a bit more about their daily life, their customs and tradition. Have dinner and overnight in the village.

Approx: 1-hour driving/ 4 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.

*You can leave your big suitcases at the hotel and collect them the next day before heading back to Hanoi

Day 3: Taphin – Matra – Sapa (B/L) – Bus back to Hanoi

After breakfast, we start our trek towards Sapa. We will pass through several minority villages; rive paddy terraces along the way. Upon arriving in Matra village inhabited by Black Hmong people, we will stop for our lunch. Then, we continue our walk to Sapa. End of service.

Approx: 4 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.

Collect your luggage, relax at the hotel’s lobby.

Around 15.15 – 15.30, the limousine bus will pick you up at the hotel and the limousine bus will transfer you back to Hanoi. Arrive to Hanoi around 21.30. check in at Lotusama Hanoi Hotel. End of the trip.
